Brother April Lin ('19)
I joined DSP my junior year of college and what a whirlwind those last two years were. In terms of professional and social growth, I put myself out there and gained the confidence and support that led to my leadership role in this organization, and ultimately the internship and full-time job I wanted. Aside from that, I’ve also gained life long friends and I couldn’t have asked for a happier ending to my college career. To those who aren’t graduating, keep an open mind and step out of your comfort zone because there are so many opportunities that await.
Brother Andres Rodriguez ('23)
I joined Delta Sigma Pi during my sophomore year with hopes of gaining a sense of community and professionalism, and I have never looked back since. The leadership experiences I’ve gained have proven valuable in the workforce, teaching me to collaborate effectively with like-minded individuals and communicate well with coworkers and superiors. Through resume workshops, interview preparation, and presentation skills training, I learned to present myself professionally—skills not always covered in college. I’ve also made friends worth of a lifetime and built priceless friendships that are hard to find. Delta Sigma Pi set me on the right path to a brighter future.

I rushed DSP to better understand how to achieve my professional goals and surround myself with people who shared that same level of ambition. My time in DSP helped me build the professional skills, network, and confidence that have been incredibly valuable during my time at UCSC. Looking back, joining DSP was one of the best decisions I made during my four years here.
